Could you tell me where you live or where you are from? A great many people, myself included, love the idea of having a Raven or a Crow as a pet but different countries have different laws. I doubt anyone else here will read this but just in case I thought I'd say anyway that only imported Raven's and crows are legal in CAnada. I'm not sure about the US but I imagine it's somewhat the same. I thought I'd maybe ask where you got your bird (other than the nursery) so that people might have an idea of where to look and who to contact if they want to find out about how to get themselves a bird of their own. Trapping wild crows and ravens is illegal here in Canada (not to mention that Ravens have a significant amount of spiritual importance and meaning to many first nations groups especially here on the west coast) and so anyone here who wanted one would have to look outside the country since birds native to Canada aren't available as a domestic pet. Any suggestions where to start looking if one would want to find one of these birds as a pet?

I live in Ukraine, and the bird I took a chick in a special nursery. But in our country, and in Russia there is no ban on that person keeps a crow (or a raven), which he took to the wounded in the woods or on the street. So you need to look for in Russia or Ukraine.

thank you kindly. I know that foreign birds are allowed, we just aren't allowed to take birds from the wild. Thanks. :)
